Today, 10 years after the start of the Iraq war, The Lancet medical journal published collected data from 14,000 service personnel, indicating 20% of men under 30 had committed a violent offence, compared to 7% outside the military.

A response to the disproportionately high level of ex-servicemen behind bars in the UK, Glory Dazed was created with the help of former members of the armed forces now serving sentences at HMP and YOI Doncaster to highlight the personal challenges of returning to civilian life from active duty.
