Baroque Theatre Company

Onstage a classic British comedy is in full swing, the marriage of Rupert and Sarah is on the rocks and their lawyer friends, Charles and Madge agree to handle the divorce. After the play has been running for a few minutes, Rupert forgets his lines, has a brain storm and threatens to kill Charles in full view of the audience. The rest of the cast try to ignore the incident and forge ahead with the original play with hilarious results. A real life marital comedy now evolves. This "play within a play" is a light hearted tilt at the complete theatricality of stage folk.
