The Cocktail Party
Suitable for ages 12+. Following last year's sell out success of Dracula, Theatre Alba's Adult Leisure Group return to The Netherbow Theatre with T.S. Eliot's The Cocktail Party. Part satire of the traditional British drawing-room comedy and part philosophical discourse on the darker aspects of human relations, Eliot's absurdist wit explores marital discord aggravated by pressures to keep up social appearances, and the mix of sweet and sour perfectly suits Theatre Alba's growing reputation and promises much entertainment
