National Theatre Connections

National Theatre Connections is a nationwide celebration of new writing and young theatre talent. Artsdepot is one of 19 venues across the UK, from Bristol to Belfast, hosting a showcase festival of performances from their region as part of Connections.

This year, the National Theatre has commissioned ten new plays with an international flavour. Written by some of the most exciting playwrights in the UK and beyond, these diverse stories range from the passionately political to the heartwarmingly funny.
