Music By Mendelssohn

This programme includes both original organ works by Mendelssohn, such as the Organ Sonata no.3 in A as well as transcriptions such as the Notturno and Wedding March from the incidental music for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Adagio and Finale from the ‘Scottish’ Symphony no. 3, and two of the delightful Songs Without Words originally for piano.
