Les Grandes Orgues

A programme of organ music by French composers, or emulating the grand French style. Works to include the first movement of Guilmant’s Sonata no. 5 in C minor, Boëllmann’s Suite Gothique (always an Usher Hall favourite!), works by Widor and Franck and American Garth Edmundson’s scintillating Toccata on ‘Vom Himmel hoch’.
