It’s the gig they said would never happen!

For one night only, especially for Soundhouse, acclaimed singer songwriter Dean Owens is reuniting with his old Felsons (and Smile) bandmates – Kevin McGuire, Calais Brown and Dave Stewart.

Scotland’s original Americana band, The Felsons are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 3rd album – Glad. They’ll be playing songs from that, as well as many more Felsons classics, plus songs from Dean’s solo albums, including from his most recent release, the storming Southern Wind.

And if that’s not enough to get you drooling in anticipation, there will also be a very special appearance from Smile!

Singer/songwriter with a crystalline voice and a sound that meshes country rock with acoustic ballads combining elements of Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt. Dean Owens is one of Scotland’s most acclaimed and established singer songwriters, with fans including Bob Harris, Irvine Welsh and Russell Brand. Armed with a searingly soulful voice and a neat line in memorable heart-twisting melodies, Dean filters his love of Americana through a gritty yet lyrical Scottish sensibility. A compelling and engaging live performer, with an innate ability to connect with any audience.
