Eigg Island

Eigg Island is a collaborative exhibition of art, music and poetry inspired by the landscape and story of the island. New visual arts will be presented including a series of large-scale paintings by artist Rose Strang, and works by photographers and craftmakers from Eigg, including Catherine Davies and Jenny Robertson.

In the mid-90s, Eigg's inhabitants decided to buy-out the island, before launching an award-winning 100% renewable energy system in 2011. It's an inspiring story and hopefully this exhibition will encourage people to visit the beautiful Isle of Eigg and learn more about its inspirational way of life.
