Botanic Lights

As night falls, join the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh for an enchanting outdoor trail of light leading you through the colours of the seasons. Light artist Grant Anderson said: "In Scotland it's often said you can experience four seasons in one day. Well, visitors to Botanic Lights will be able to experience four seasons in just one night.''

This unique outdoor trail will use state-of-the-art technology, projections and lasers to create extraordinary light effects.

This year's event will start at the East Gate entrance, Inverleith Row. Warming mulled wine, beers and snacks will be available at the East Gate Lodge, the Terrace Cafe and along the route.
