Meditations On The Sea
The complicated relationship that Scots have with the sea is explored in this event with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Rosenna East from SCO will discuss the theme in relation to music to be featured in the orchestra's 'Meditations on the sea' concert on 23 January.
On the concert programme are MacMillan's 'Tuireadh', lamenting the dead of the Piper Alpha disaster, and Volan's symphony reflecting 'on the sea and the role of ships and their cargoes in our history'.
This is a free event but booking is essential.
