In-demand young Glasgow bassist Brodie Jarvie is also a fine composer, and brings in some excellent new music specially written for this seven-piece, drawing from a wide range of musical genres and fusing free improvisation with through-composed pieces.
He's with a full lineup of really great players: Brian Molley, Adam Jackson and Michael Butcher (saxes), Davie Dunsmuir (guitar), Alan Benzie (piano) and Neil Paton (drums). Expect ear-catching soaring melodies, coupled with intricate rhythm section interplay.
