Bluebeard’s Castle And The 8th Door
Bartók’s beautiful, mysterious opera is staged in collaboration with visionary Scottish theatre company Vanishing Point, and directed by its founder Matthew Lenton. Making full use of his talent for visually compelling storytelling, Bluebeard is presented alongside The 8th Door, a new music theatre work he has co-created with Scottish Opera Composer in Residence Lliam Paterson.
They explore the ‘before’ of Bluebeard’s gruesome story – creating an ambitious double bill to enthral and intrigue.
