Moonlight and Magnolias
Hollywood 1939: movie mogul David O. Selznick has just shut down production on the most eagerly awaited film in history - his big budget version of Margaret Mitchell's best-selling novel Gone With the Wind - scrapping the original script and firing the director in the process!
Desperate to produce a re-write in five days he engages the reluctant services of script doctor Ben Hecht (seemingly the only man in America who has not read the book) and director Victor Fleming, poached straight from the set of the year's other blockbuster The Wizard of Oz!
His reputation on the line, and with nothing but a pile of bananas and some peanuts to keep them going, Selznick locks himself and his team away for a what becomes a marathon creative session...
