Bowls Scotland Coaching Conference

One of Bowls Scotland's key objectives is to develop a highly skilled coaching workforce through appropriate support and to aid this we are delighted to announce we are hosting our inaugural Coaching Conference which will take place on Sunday 8 March 2015 at Edinburgh Training and Conference Centre, St Mary’s Street, Edinburgh.

This event is appropriate for bowls coaches at all levels, including those who have yet to undertake qualifications but who have an interest in coaching lawn bowls. All existing and potential future coaches throughout Scotland are invited to register to attend.

This one-day conference will commence at 10am with a very exciting keynote speaker (details will be shared shortly) who will be supported by other highly qualified individuals delivering an insightful and highly valuable programme to support and develop your coaching skills.

The cost for this event is £10 for members of Bowls Scotland affiliated clubs and £12.50 for non-members and includes a goody bag on arrival, all workshops, refreshments throughout the day and lunch.

On street parking is available all around the vicinity of the venue and is free of charge on Sundays. A multi-storey car park is located on Holyrood Road at the bottom of St Mary's Street but carries a day rate of around £15, therefore street parking is recommended.

The venue is just a 5-minute walk from the Market Street exit from Waverley Station, and around 10 minutes walk from the bus station at St Andrews Square.
