Edinburgh's biggest comedy event featuring an all-star cast, hosted by Kevin Bridges and Adam Hills.
The Comedy Gala 2013 in aid of Waverley Care will feature the cream of the comedy crop at this year’s Fringe and, as previous years, will also be recorded for television, meaning that even if you can’t make it to the Festival you won’t be missing out on all of the fun.
Set to be the Edinburgh’s biggest comedy event this August, the Edinburgh Comedy Gala 2013 will showcase some of the finest comedic talent at the Fringe in aid of and support to people living with HIV and Hepatitis C.
The show is being recorded for television.

Described as the 'Leonard Cohen of comedy', Andrew Lawrence is the master of his game. As seen on BBC1's 'Michael Mcintyre's Roadshow' and Channel 4's 'Best of The Brighton Comedy Festival', Andrew is also a double 'If' comedy award nominee.

Romesh burst onto the comedy circuit in 2010, gigging regularly at top venues all over the country. As well as turning in storming turns on a regular basis, he has also found time to reach the Latitude New Act Final 2010, The So You Think You're Funny? Final 2010 as well as coming runner up in The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010.
He has forged a fearsome reputation with a set that combines cutting one liners with an acerbic take on the world around him.

Since coming to the UK, the Canadian has built up a reputation as a popular and highly recommended comedian. Neil Delamere is one of the most in-demand comedians on Irish television, and well on track to repeat his success here in the UK. He is best known to UK audiences for a storming appearance on the first series of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC1, and has also appeared on The World Stand Ups and Live At The Comedy Store, both on Comedy Central. Neil is one of a handful of performers to consistently receive five star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe year-after-year.

Charming and charismatic, a natural motormouth, Brighton’s Seann Walsh is the most frighteningly precocious talent to emerge from the UK comedy circuit in ages.
Within two years of his first comedy performance in 2007, Seann became the winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. Shortly after, other accolades included Chortle Best Breakthrough Act Nominee 2010 and Chortle Best Compere Nominee 2011.

Seann Walsh tour dates
One of the most exciting and distinctive talents to emerge on the comedy circuit in recent years. He is a familiar voice on BBC Radio 4 as a regular on The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive. 'Absolutely brilliant' according to Caroline Aherne, and he has justified the tag, regularly selling out his shows in Edinburgh and racking up the television and radio credits. Still a relative newcomer, Marlon Davis is like a breath of fresh air on stage, with an impish grin, boyish enthusiasm and an effortlessly open, confident style that instantly wins him friends in the audience.

'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' winner Charlie Baker brings his incredible mix of jokes, song and dance to the stage. Charlie was a regular on the 2010 series of Richard Bacon's Beer and Pizza Club, starred in The Comedy Store, which aired in January 2011.
The Guardian has described the hyperactive funnyman as 'a superior take on the modern showman' and 'Devon's answer to Frank Sinatra'.

This popular stand-up and TV comedian is well-known for his appearances on the pop music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks. His career as a performer began in 1984 when he quit his job as a civil servant to follow a new direction as a performance poet on the alternative comedy circuit and supporting bands such as The Style Council and The Housemartins. During the late '80s he worked with Billy Bragg, directing videos for both Bragg and Kirsty MacColl.
Phill has an abiding love and in-depth knowledge of popular music, particularly ska, bluebeat and rhythm and blues. His hugely successful standup tours have included Jedi, Steady, Go and Quadrophobia, and he has worked extensively on radio, variously as a contributor, panellist and presenter. He has also toured as part of The Blockheads line-up.

Hyperactive Scottish comedian with a rapid fire delivery and unrelenting style who has been swiftly gaining recognition, including finishing runner up in both the BBC's New Comedy Awards 2001 and the Daily Telegraph New Comedy Awards 20001.
Des Clarke tour dates
Gary Delaney is a razor sharp one-liner comedian, who is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic on the circuit. The high quantity of stand out gags leaves the audience struggling to remember them all. He regularly plays all the big clubs including The Comedy Store, Highlight, Jongleurs, Komedia, Glee, Rawhide, The Frog and Bucket, Hyena, Baby Blue, The Stand, Comedy Café, Lee Hurst's Backyard, Banana Cabaret and headlines at clubs throughout the UK.
Gary is a regular guest on Mock The Week and has also recently appeared on Dave's 'One Night Stand', Comedy Central's 'Comedy Blue' and on Channel 4's 'Robert's Web' as well as Radio 4's 'Loose Ends' and Radio 2's 'Russell Kane's Whistle-Stop Tour'. His debut show 'Purist' was a big hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010, selling out every night and receiving many four and five star reviews.

She has appeared on TV on Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three), Victoria Wood's Angina Monologues (Sky One) and Dave's One Night Stand (Dave) and on radio on BBC Radio 4's The Unbelievable Truth and The News Quiz..
Roisin is also a gifted character comic, who can switch between roles seamlessly.

The alter ego of Simon Brodkin, Lee Nelson burst onto the scene clad from baseball cap to white trainer in sportswear logos and cheap-and-chunky bling, fag behind the ear and can of Stella in hand.
