The history of Chinese folk music is one of the longest unbroken musical lineages in the world, representing over three thousand years of tradition. In this Chinese folk music show, several traditional instruments will be played, such as Bangdi, Liuqin and Zheng.

The show is unique because it introduces audience to all those instruments at the beginning with a piece called Instrumental Guide to the Chinese Traditional Orchestra, followed by another nine traditional Chinese pieces.

Playing traditional folk music at such scale outside China is very unprecedented.
