Three actors cooped up together during lockdown. Fuelled by cabin fever and with a bookshelf full of Shakespeare, they did what they do best and created an unhinged and bonkers, laugh-out-loud version of Romeo and Juliet.
With music, mayhem and more costume changes thank you shake a spear at, expect the HandelBards usual irreverent, charming and hilarious style to come bursting onto the stage at Hever Festival Theatre.
Forget the tears and tragedy, pack a picnic and get ready for some socially distanced, live and wired Shakespeare as you’ve never seen before.
The HandleBards are the cycling Shakespearean actors who carry their set, props and costumes on the back of their bikes, performing extremely energetic, charmingly chaotic and environmentally sustainable Shakespeare plays across the UK.
