"The best small festival going!" The Pigs Ear Folk Ale is now a local institution for lovers of live music on the West Kent border.
This year's festival promises to live up to the traditional "best ever" tag, with a fantastic line-up of guests - Belshazzar's Feast, Martin Wyndham-Read & Iris Bishop, Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham, local groups Larkspur and Sloe Gin, and comedy from Percy Chinn. Plus all the many and talented "Friends of the Folk Ale" - John Barden, Tone Deaf Leopard, Lyndsey Rule, and many more tbc.
Concerts, sessions, singarounds, open mic, workshops - the music barely stops from Thursday evening through to Sunday evening.
The Kentish Horse provides a magnificent and intimate venue, with on-site camping (and Trevor the landlord has done great things with the camping field entrance for this year!). There will be an outside bar, and hot meals from the pub throughout the weekend, including a Saturday BBQ.
