The Choral Foundation

Kings and Queens have enjoyed choral worship in the sumptuous surroundings of the Chapel Royal for centuries. What could be more British than Choral Evensong on a Sunday afternoon? Her Majesty the Queen, by providing a choir and a chaplain, invites you to enjoy the peace and beauty of Her Chapel Royal. The Chapel Royal is a national treasure very much at the heart of Richmond’s royal cultural heritage. The Choir will be conducted by Carl Jackson, Organist Rufus Frowde. Booking is not required for this event. The Chapel Royal holds 300 people, seating is unreserved and visitors will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 3pm. Please note, entry to the Chapel for the service does not include a tour of the palace. Running time 45 minutes
