The legendary Burt Bacharach heads to Hampton Court Palace Festival on 23rd June.

Burt Bacharach is one of the greatest composers of all time and an icon of popular music. He has written million-selling songs for a wealth of stars including Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, Dionne Warwick, The Carpenters and many others. In his long career spanning six decades he has achieved an impressive 48 top ten hits.

As one of the most successful and honoured songwriters, Bacharach is credited for revolutionising the music of the 1950s and 60s and has continued to pioneer new forms of music into the 21st century, working with many of today’s big names in pop. As three time Academy Award winner and eight time Grammy Award winner (including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008), Bacharach’s music continues to set industry records and creative standards.
