The brainy and beautiful Belle yearns to escape her provincial life…and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle soon becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle. Dancing dishes, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to live.

‘Vertigo Theatre’ is a youth work based community drama group which is run by a committee of young people and facilitated by South Lanarkshire Youth Learning Services. It gives access for young people, aged 8-25 from across South Lanarkshire, to high quality drama activity delivered in age appropriate groups.
