An exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime performance, bringing together Scotland’s top Taiko players with one of Japan’s most exciting young groups and silver medalists in the all-Japan taiko competition.

In March 2011 Fukushima suffered one of the worst nuclear disasters in history, with the earthquake, tsunami and subsequent radiation causing devastation to communities in the region. Survivors of this tragedy and award-winning Taiko players Uneme Taiko now come to Scotland to join with South Lanarkshire’s own UK’s Centre for Taiko Drumming in a cross-cultural collaboration and a celebration of life.
