The Glass Menagerie By Tennessee Williams

East Kilbride Arts Centre provides the perfect venue for this smouldering depiction of Southern life through the eyes of a young man who is trapped in the family home to provide for his delusional mother and crippled sister after his father has deserted them.

Set in the 1930s it is regarded by many as a Williams classic and won many awards before being made into the film starring Kirk Douglas.

Performed by the group which brought the highly acclaimed One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest to this venue it is beautifully presented and not to be missed.
