Sing The Spaces At Ushaw

Explore the unique spaces of Ushaw to discover its heritage, history & hospitality through singing. A fantastic new way to delve into the hidden treasures of one of County Durhams most magnificent buildings. Adults of all abilities are welcome at this singing day which includes a morning workshop led by The Singing Elf - Rebecca McGarvie, a delicious lunch in the grand Parlour and a singing tour of the building to experience the impressive acoustics & history of Ushaw.

TICKETS: 17.50 includes a delicious lunch

Ushaw is a hidden treasure in the heart of County Durham, with a trove of stunning rooms, chapels and grounds to discover. The estate, which was formerly a college, opened its doors to the public in 2014 and is now a large cultural and heritage attraction which is fully accessible and open to all. Featuring programmes of music, exhibitions and tours along with sumptuous tea rooms, Ushaw is a jewel in Durhams crown, just waiting to be explored.

The Singing Elf Rebecca McGarvie is a professional vocal tutor who makes singing magical for people with all levels of experience, from seasoned choral singers to absolute beginners. Rebecca brings a special mix of energy and fun to her workshops, allowing everyone to enjoy their singing and build their confidence. Sing the Spaces is one of the many exciting singing experiences Rebecca leads in County Durham.
