Caribbean Carnival

The Union will be awash with colour as they take on the spirit of carnival in 2017! Their third, big, outdoor party in as many weeks, The Caribbean Carnival kicks off in Airlie Place with two outdoor stages, live bands and DJs. To get you up and dancing there’ll also be Caribbean cocktails, outdoor bars and (professional!) rebreathers.

Airlie Terrace will be kitted out as a full blown urban beach complete with sand, palm trees and its very own sound system. If you need to refuel there’ll be street food vans and drinks served by a selection of local artisan distillers and brewers.

The party continues inside The Union with themed décor, interactive performers and dancers. DJing in Mono will be Felon (Ultra Records / Armada) cranking out the party vibes with their incredible house grooves. This trio of DJs/producers have a string of hits to their name and have played at high pro le events and venues such as Sankeys Ibiza, El Dorado Festival, Spring Break Amsterdam, Wonky Factory and Bedouin.

The Caribbean Carnival will bring a taste of the tropical to Dundee with the nest purveyors of party vibes; whether reggae, house, hip hop, bashment or bassline, there's something for everyone.
