High School of Dundee Spring Concert - The Auld Alliance
The High School of Dundee presents a concert celebrating the music of Scotland and France and the many years of friendship between the two nations.
Pupils aged 8-18 will be performing a varied programme, set to include many popular traditional Scottish songs, such as "Ye Banks and Braes of Bonnie Doon". Music from France will be represented by, among others, the "Suite Francaise".
The Orchestra will perform a new orchestration of "Two Pieces" by American composer Amy Beach, one Scottish and the other French in inspiration. Come along to what promises to be an enjoyable evening of music.
