Scotland’s Number One comedy promoters bring their brand of Award Winning Comedy nights to Dundee Rep Theatre, with 'Frankie Boyle and Friends'.

The King of Darkness makes his way to Dundee with a few comedy friends in toe for a night to remember. After his appearances on Mock The Week, Live at The Apollo and Live Floor Show, Frankie Boyle established himself as one of the best comedians in the country if not the world. Recent appearances on Have I Got News For You, as well as a number of Guardian Colours Frankie has shown he still very much has his finger on the pulse of the UK. Not for the faint hearted or easily offended, this will be your chance to see one of this countries greatest comedians up close.

Supporting Frankie on the night will be Scottish Comedy Legend Fred MacAulay. Fred arrived late to the world of stand-up comedy but has gone on to be a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe (2015 was his 27th Fringe) and at comedy festivals worldwide.

He has successfully featured in and presented many programmes for BBC TV: he hosted the talk show McCoist and MacAulay and presented Life According to Fred, Hoots, Simply Fred and Scots on the Box, as well as the 2014 On The Road magazine programme with Martell Maxwell. On national television he has been a panelist on shows including Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News For You. In addition he was a guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson twice on US television and his performance at The Montreal Comedy Festival has been shown coast to coast in North America. Fred is as close to a National Treasure as we have in Scotland.

Also on the bill is Scott Gibson. Regarded by many to be the Best act to emerge from Scotland in years, Gibson has made waves since he first took to the stage in November 2010. A storyteller at heart, Gibson mixes a conversational style with his own unique brand of dark humour. Confidently leading his audience down a path, few dare to tread.
