D&G Performing Arts Touring Project

Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival is changing.

The organisations remit is increasing from a focus on a ten day performing arts festival. To an organisation that supports touring performing arts year round, in addition to a flagship festival.

It will do so by:
Promoting live performances,
Encouraging touring into the region,
Reducing financial risk to promoters,
Offering advice,
Providing local and national networking opportunities.

In this meeting,there will be discussions about these proposals, and seek feedback in order to ensure they are the right proposals for the region.
