Baad Acid

VillaGaiety are excited to welcome Baad Acid to the Villa Marina’s Prom Suite on Friday 23rd April, the fifth band to perform as part of our Made in Mann series! Following the successful introduction of the series in 2020 that saw approx. 600 people attend four separate gigs, the series is returning for another four-part quarterly series starting next month (April, 2021).

Made in Mann gives local Manx bands the platform to showcase their talents by playing in the Island’s largest entertainment venue and illustrates the enormous amount of Manx music talent.

The legendary Baad Acid are a three-piece outfit, bringing you a unique Eclectic-Electric-Psychedelic-Drone-Pop sound that we have all come to love and admire over the years!

Emma Callin, Head of Villa Marina, Gaiety Theatre and the Arts said “We are so glad to be continuing this music series with the help of the IOM Arts Council. These gigs have been well received by the public and the bands involved so far, providing new experiences for many. We are evolving VillaGaiety’s relationship with local music and we welcome the opportunity to provide the platform of a professional music venue especially for bands who might not have played here before.”

This is a free event, no tickets are required but capacity is limited to 250.
