The legendary Jean "Toots" Thielemans pioneered the chromatic harmonica as a solo jazz instrument in its own right and his career has encompassed the best of jazz and latin music from the past sixty years.

This exciting new band will play new arrangements of music Toots performed with jazz greats from Charlie Parker to Quincy Jones, and will re-visit Toots' groundbreaking collaborations with giants of Brazilian music such as Ivan Lins and Caetano Veloso.

Phil Hopkins has been the featured harmonica soloist in West End shows such as Porgy And Bess, Gone With The Wind and Tim Rice's From Here To Eternity and has recorded as percussionist with many jazz artists including Guy Barker, Julian Joseph and Norma Winstone.
