Austen is a new musical play exploring Jane’s relationships with her parents, her little known real life romances and her struggle to become a published author in a male dominated industry.

Austen was a big hit, sell out show at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe and has been newly developed for touring.

Originally written by Rob Winlow Austen was co-written by multi award winning writer/dramaturg Bernie C Byrnes. This stylish and authentic musical play is directed by West End director Matt Aston.

The songs range from complete joy at the prospect of true love, to utter despair on rejection, to Mrs Austen’s eulogy.
