Dancing Lines

Capturing the energy of live movement, the Dancing Lines artist collective produce work in direct response to Egyptian style belly dancing. Dancer Aimée Payton has evolved the project through a series of experimental drawing workshops in which artists draw, paint and mark-make to emulate the experience of watching of live dance and the movements made.

This exhibition follows a public summer residency week at Cornerstone, and will show work in different media, exploring the fascinating connections created between two creative processes.
