Formed for a VE Day dance in 1985, the London Swing Orchestra continue to delight over thirty years later.
From Buckingham Palace to Beijing, Graham Dalby has led his orchestra in concert or dance performances in some twenty-nine countries around the world. The music dates from 1900 and takes us on a marvellous journey from Ragtime to Sinatra swing.
Described as ‘witty and stylish’ Dalby narrates the story with anecdotes and a fascinating history of 20th-century music.
With fourteen albums to their credit, the LSO present a wonderful evening of classic Jazz and Swing including Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Cole Porter, Louis Armstrong and of course Frank Sinatra!
