Paying tribute to his father's music in the jazz master's centenary year, pianist and composer Darius Brubeck teams up with saxophonist Dave O'Higgins, bassist Matt Ridley and drummer Wesley Gibbens for their Devizes debut after critically acclaimed international tours and sold-out shows at major jazz houses in London.
Darius Brubeck is an American jazz pianist, composer, author and retired university professor (still active as a researcher and writer) residing in England. Moving to the United Kingdom on retirement from full-time teaching in 2006, Darius now leads the London based Darius Brubeck Quartet. Darius has composed and arranged across a range of styles from string trio to full orchestra, as performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and others.
