Casting for over 17 years Carolyn has worked with directors including Sofia Coppola, Paul Schrader and Michael Caton Jones.

Recent feature projects include: High Strung, a dance movie by the original team behind the Step Up movie franchise. The Dying Of The Light, with Nicolas Cage and Irene Jacob, Walking With The Enemy for which she cast Ben Kingsley, The Dark Prince with Jon Voight, Fright Night 2 with Jaime Murray, The Liability with Tim Roth, Peter Mullan and Jack O'Connell, The Magnificent Eleven, Payback Season child and additional casting on The Woman In Black and the psychological thriller Truth Or Die with Jennie Jacques. Along with projects for the BBC, Disney and associate casting on the first two Harry Potter films.

Carolyn is currently casting a TV pilot for The Saint, and she is Associate Producer and casting director on Blood And Stone, an indie feature which will shoot on location in Wales in 2016.

After a brief introduction about the role of a Casting Director, Carol will offer an insight into how an actor can best prepare for and execute a successful audition for features, shorts and TV. There will be an opportunity for an informal Q&A with Carol towards the end of the Workshop.
