David Alexander: Memorial Exhibition

David Alexander trained at London’s Central School of Arts and Crafts from 1955. Although eclectic in output and influence the longest legacy of his training was his great love of impressionism. Landscapes, seascapes and public parks in England, France and the USA dominated his paintings.

His work is in private collections in four continents and locally in BRNC’s fine art collection. Two of his paintings are included in Joslin Fiennes’ ‘Dartmouth: an Enchanted Place’.

He died in 2009. All sales for Flavel funds.
