1970s folk rock band The Strawbs are making a rare north east appearance later this month when they appear at the Forum Music Centre in Borough Road. Darlington
Original members Dave Cousins, Dave Lambert and Chas Cronk will be playing all their best know material - acoustic style.
The Strawbs are Britain's most successful international progressive folk-rock band. Having emerged from the British Folk movement in the late 1960's, the Strawbs created complex and intricate songs. Front man Dave Cousins, has been described as the most talented Dylan-like songwriter to come out of Britain.
