Can you imagine the different sounds you can get from a balloon? From applying electronic vibration to a balloon the size of a kettle drum, for instance? Do you want to take part in a balloon symphony?

Judy Dunaway is a virtuoso on the balloon. An avant-garde composer, free improviser, conceptual sound artist and creator of sound installations, since 1990 she has created over forty works for balloons and has also made this her main instrument for improvisation.

More recently she has been developing work that incorporates interactive video and electronics with the balloons.
