The Wishing Well is an acclaimed dance solo work for Martha Pasakopoulou, a work that reclaims the dignity and importance of dreams and ideals, and the role they have in constructing identities.

A Place Prize finalist in 2013 – ‘A hot contender for the top vote’ (The Stage), ‘The stand out performer’ (Metro) – The Wishing Well witnesses the transformation of the dancer’s character by looking at different memories of her personal history.

My Other Life (work in progress, previously Skydaddy and Afterlife) explores the theme of an alternative reality – a constructed place where another kind of life might exist. This latest work in progress performance will be co-created with and performed by participants of the two day intensive workshop at MMU.

Eva Recacha is a London based choreographer. Her choreographic practice is focused on exploring ways of relating movement and text, creating a blend of poetic, humorous, and nonsensical juxtapositions through the interplay of both mediums.
