The Lady in the Van by Alan Bennett
When playwright Alan Bennett let the eccentric, cantankerous and, lets be frank, smelly Miss Shepherd park her van in his garden in Camden Town in 1974, he had no idea shed stay for 15 years.
Based upon his own memoirs, The Lady in the Van is the hilarious yet touching story of Bennetts relationship with the elderly vagrant who came to occupy what has been described as the most famous parking space in London.
Please note the play includes strong language.
