Slipstone

Slipstone are an acoustic/electric folk roots rock duo based in South Wales. Seasoned musicians, Huw Chidgey & Mel Crew perform an eclectic mix of songs from the traditional to contemporary.

Huw's a singer, guitar player and teacher. He also plays as a soloist. He works for the charity Music In Hospitals as a freelance musician, and he teaches guitar in schools around South Powys.

Mel is an extremely experienced musician and lead vocalist, who has played with various bands over the years, including Fastback Saloon, The Parcel Of Rogues & The Blue Rhondda. He has played venues up and down the country, played on various local radio stations, also on TV. On his travels he has shared the stage with bands such as Racing Cars & The Strawbs. Mel also works with Huw for the charity Music In Hospitals.
