University of Warwick Symphonic Brass Ensemble

Symphonic Brass is an auditioned brass dectet from the University of Warwick, consisting of some of the university’s finest musicians. The band plays a variety of music, ranging from contemporary pieces, which push the boundaries of brass playing, to more traditional classical music and jazz standards.

As the premier ensemble of the University of Warwick Brass Society, Symphonic Brass has performed at a number of venues throughout Coventry and Warwickshire since it’s establishment 15 years ago, and has the privileged position of providing musical accompaniment to the graduation ceremonies at the university every year.
