Every Picture Tells A Story – The Great War In European Art
Over four half days, this course looks at the social and political contexts of a selection of European works of art produced during or commemorating the Great War in Britain, France, Germany and Russia.
Each work selected will highlight the artist‘s attitude to the war and aspects of the war’s impact on civilian society.
