Barb'd Wire

Barb'd Wire formed in Coventry in 2013 and have quickly gained an enviable reputation for their driving reggae beat. That might not be too surprising when you consider their sticks man is the legendary and original rude boy himself Trevor Evans. Combining with local songwriter/singer Lloyd Mcgrath gives the band a unique mix of original and Barb'd Wire interpretations of classics.

The band's immediate reputation has caught the attention of leading music venues with gigs at the Dog in Coventry, the Donkey and Musician in Leicester, London's iconic music venue the Hope and Anchor and are now in festival mode, fresh back from Skamouth and headlining the Earlsdon Festival in May... Front man Lloyd McGrath is ably assisted by the sweetest female vocals of Cherelle Harding.
