A small festival with big ideas - Salon London's Also Festival offers a chance to tune out all that noise, take to a field and tune in to something better for this year's 'Isle Of Noises' theme. Also Festival brings to life over two hundred of the biggest and boldest ideas from the arts, sciences, psychology and philosophy through immersive talks and experiences.
Visitors will immerse themselves in the work of academics and experts – understand how being more altruistic could make them more successful, whether the internet is killing democracy, the political power of music, the science of leading films, the pseudo-success of global development, the neuroscience of laughter and much more. DJs and live musicians provide the soundtrack to the weekend, whilst Also's beautiful lakeside banqueting tent hosts a broad range of fine dining experiences and camping options offer a luxury twist.
2018's theme is 'Isle of Noises' as festival-goers of all ages are invited to get involved, with everything from experimental cocktail classes to contemporary dance, Lip Sync Heroes, rave yoga and guided wild nature swims.
