Music that travels beyond borders to explore the forms and styles of the Celtic traditions and work them anew. Through songs and melodies, from thoughtful lyrics to joyful jigs, here is a band that can take you on an emotional journey.

Tunesmith, accordionist and lead singer Jamie is joined by fiddler Oliver Wilson-Dickson (Devil’s Violin) and Adam Rhodes (Barrule) on bouzouki, with Matthew Downer on basses and percussionist Lolo Whelan.

Their intimate relationship provides a rich and flexible soundscape, where delicate touch and driving tune are instantly interchangeable;where lush, textural harmonies can underpin lyrical song, or slick rhythms can propel lightning melodies.

Notable recent performances include WOMAD; Rainforest World Music Restival, Borneo; Fairport’s Cropredy Convention and the massive Restival Interceltique de L’Orient.

Their 5th album The Space Between is released in January
