Combining classical instruments with his Cuban roots, violinist Omar Puente's quartet brings a unique combination of sounds and styles for all tastes and ages, delivered in Puente's engaging style. Since arriving in England almost 20 years ago, Puente has maintained close links with both traditional Cuban music and classical genres as well as jazz, having collaborated with the likes of Jools Holland and John Williams, along with a number of renowned Latin artists including Ruben Gonzales and the Afro Cuban Allstars.
Following the success of his debut solo album From There to Here, which was produced by acclaimed saxophonist Courtney Pine, this concert will see Puente perform music from his new album Best Foot Forward.
