Denys Baptiste makes a welcome return to Ribble Valley Jazz Festival following his festival appearance with Jazz Jamaica in 2017.
His new band celebrates the work of John Coltrane with a new album, ‘The Late Trane’. July 2017 was the 50th anniversary of Coltrane’s death. Denys’ band revisits John Coltrane’s compositions from 1963-67, rearranging & presenting them in exciting new forms, and paying homage to the original recordings.
