Often cited as the first real musical, where plot, character and music are all moulded together, ‘Oklahoma!’ is a story of two ‘ménage a trois’ set against a dynamic background of conflict between farmers and cowmen.

There is love, lust, dancing, fights and flirting, with the glorious words and music of Rogers and Hammerstein, that are already part of our cultural DNA.

For our audience we will wind back the clock to the turn of the 19th century and the Indian Territory, soon destined to become the new state of Oklahoma. Hardworking simple folk who have dreams and aspirations lived in a challenging environment.
