Bournemouth Bay Art Group Art Exhibition

The Bournemouth Bay Art Group, or BBAG as it is commonly known, make their first ever visit to the Regent in Christchurch with an exhibition of their work, which runs from Monday 20 July – Friday 14 August.

The Group was formed in 2003 by a group of artists who were students of Frances Shearing, a talented local artist and teacher, who is herself a member.  The medium in which the group initially worked was watercolour but BBAG now includes members who paint in acrylic, oils and also textile painting. 

The club which has a membership of 26 artists, meets each week and promotes a programme of activities such as working sessions, talks, discussions, demonstrations, critiques, visits, painting holidays, exhibitions and sales of paintings.
